Removal of condition was approved without spouse
Was married about a year, lived together before marriage 4 years total lived 5 years together.
Because of spouse cheating and violent tendency we divorced.
Filed removal process right after divorce 2024 september and just received the card is being made.
Filed lots of photos(travel), ceremony photos, rent agreements and receipts, joint bank account, authorized user credit cards, tax report(together) and letter from myself, my friend(who was in evidence photos a lot) and spouse himself to explain situation.
We didn’t have a huge wedding so no wedding photos but did have nice photos of ceremony at city hall. Also I didn’t have car when we were together so no car insurance. And I was worried a lot although we lived together long but the marriage was short.
I hope everyones the best luck and hope this helps with your case as well.

Here’s a prayer you can share or keep close to your heart
A Prayer for Those Waiting on Their Green Card
Heavenly Father,
We lift up every soul waiting in silence, carrying the heavy weight of uncertainty.
Some are enduring abuse, unable to speak because of fear.
Some have left their families and love behind, longing for a better tomorrow.
Some bear illness in their bodies—diabetes, stress, and pain from this long journey.
And some are being used, their dignity overlooked, as they cling to hope.
Lord, see us. Hear us.
Remind us that today is not the end.
Tomorrow holds promise, healing, and freedom.
Strengthen our faith while we wait, protect our hearts, and guide us into peace.
We believe that tomorrow will be better,
and that Your hand will turn sorrow into testimony.
Amen.
Return EAD after i485 approval
hello all,
my case was approved recently and i already received card and approval letter. On the approval letter, they are asking me to send EAD card which is valid until 2029 to return back to USCIS office in NBC. Those who got approved did you guys had to return the EAD? Thanks.
time after biometric
Hello, I got my Biometrics after 11 days of concurrently submitting my I-130, I-485, and I-765. During this time, I received an RFI for one minor typo error. Before I sent them a reply, I received a Biometrics appointment.
After the biometric, I would like to know how much time it takes for the interview and then GC from the Dallas, TX centre?
Traveling to Mexico with I797 extention letter
Hi everyone,
I'm traveling to Cancun in November and just accidently stumbled upon some posts that we cannot use I797 to travel to Mexico.
Some are saying I should get a I551 stamp, or get a visa. I'm from Montenegro originally, so I would apply for Mexican visa as Monetenegrian citizen right?
Please advise if you know, I don't want to risk anything.
Thank you! 😊
