Changed 485 answer while interview. F2A
PD 5/2022
130 approved 3 years ago.
We have house, kid, joint bank, cars…. no criminal, no drug, no illegal stay,F1 to 485…
12/2 Interview- officer said already internally approved, just go through process. but she find out I was applied travel visa in 2018 and got denied, but I forgot that and also answered “no” in 485. So she corrected that during interview but she still said no a big deal, she will approve.
whole interview about 15 minutes, just asking 485 questions.
but the 693 medical report can’t upload during interview, because IT issues she said. I think they fix 12/3, cuz api has an updated at 12/3
The status changed to actively reviewing after we done interview within 2 hour. No seeing additional evidence needed.
just trying to find out is anyone has similar case and how long it takes to get approval?

My interview got scheduled 5 months ago and my attorneys team by mistakely changed my address from New Jersey to New York and system automatically cancelled my interview due to state change and later I never heard back. Also I have filed I-130 before my spouse became citizen and abd the second one along with I-485, now the first one is approved. Any idea when do i get my interview scheduled and which I-130 they would consider
Category: F4 (Brothers/Sisters of U.S. Citizens)
Country: India
Priority Date: 21 December 2009
My case has been pending for a long time, and I would like to know:
1. What is the current movement for F4 India?
2. Is anyone here with a similar priority date who has received any updates?
3. How long is it currently taking for F4 India cases from 2009 to become current?

Called USCIS for updates 😩
Hello everyone,
Today I contacted USCIS by phone regarding my green card application. I was told that my case is considered “processing normally,” even though it has been pending for about 20 months, and that a service request cannot be opened at this time.
I was also informed that my case is currently being handled by the San Bernardino Field Office, even though I do not live in San Bernardino County—it is a neighboring county. What I find confusing is that I never received any transfer notice, and my online USCIS account still does not reflect any field office transfer.
However, this information was not entirely new. In early September 2025, I submitted a congressional inquiry, and USCIS’s written response to my congressman also referenced the San Bernardino Field Office liaison. Today’s phone call confirmed that my file has been there since then.
I’m trying to understand what to expect next. If anyone has experience with the San Bernardino Field Office or has gone through a similar situation, I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts. Thank you 🙏
I have my interview 4weeks ago
Hi everyone, I have a question.
My I-130 was approved 2 years ago. I have been married to a U.S. citizen for 16 years. I had my I-485 interview on November 12 in Fresno. They did not ask me for any documents and the interview was very quick. At the end, they told me to wait for a letter to see if I am approved. How long does it usually take for that letter to arrive?
