Upcoming Changes in Immigration Policies with the New Administration
I've spoken with a few attorneys I’ve worked with as paralegal and client to help break it down for you:
 * Humanitarian Parole: Programs for certain countries may end, affecting new arrivals & current beneficiaries. * Deportations: Increased focus on removals, especially for those with final orders. Know your rights before January 20th! * Travel as Undocumented: Stricter TSA enforcement might affect options for flights or mobility for those who are undocumented. * Asylum Interviews: A focus on the "last in, first out" system could mean faster interviews for new applicants.
 * Green Card Applications: Potential delays and possible changes to the one-year waiting period before applying. (you might have to wait for 1 year like it used to be so APPLY ASAP if you’re eligible) * More RFEs: Based on the previous 4 years of this administration, attorneys are expecting more RFEs on any little detail so make sure to triple check your forms before filing!

I’ll keep you guys posted as I get more info!
