Need Advice on Timing for I-485 Application After Asylum Approval
Hello Friends
I recently got my I-589 (Asylum) approved.
What is the best time to apply for permanent residency? I’m worried that the new administration may change the I-485 process for asylees.
attorney advised me to wait 4 to 6 months, but a few people have suggested applying as soon as possible to secure my position in line.
I’m really confused. Please help me! 🙏

long a challenging journey!
