no access number
it's been 2months since I got me receipt notice and I was supposed to get my access number no later than 4weeks after. So I asked USCIS to send me a new access number since I didn't receive one. Well this morning I got this email-
" We have reviewed your inquiry and need to advise you that we are not able to provide the information you have requested. Specifically, it is not clear that you are the applicant of the requested information or have the legal authority to act on behalf of the applicant.
Due to rules set forth in the Privacy Act of 1974, we cannot discuss the issues or share information concerning the immigration status of the applicant in this case, nor can we confirm that he or she has any action pending with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)"
how is this even possible? I'm getting anxiety because I can't get answers #I-130

if you filed online all you do is sign in. they only send access codes to people that paper file.

You can talk to a live agent and they will provide one. I did it yesterday

did you file by paper? if you filed online you don’t have to add your case because it is already there

@daneca dgp That is the reason you can’t get any info. Your husband will have to call to get an access code, so that you can add the petition.

Uscis never asked me for an Access code to see My case online, ask to Emma through the USCIS web.
