Can I mention my daughter as a legal resident while her I485 is pending
Hi Everybody,
I have a question about Tax filing. So I have to file taxes for this year I have a 6-year-old daughter. It's been 2.5 years she has been living with me in the USA. Can I mention her as a legal alien for a tax purpose? She has a valid SSN as well.

many immigration lawyers are advising at this time and more so as of yesterday that they do not recommend travelling with your I-131 advanced parole as at many points of entry at multiple airports, CBP officers are confusing Advanced Parole with the canceled parole in place and have even noted LPR/ green card holders are being denied entry just out of chaos and confusion. I am the last person to incite fear but I want everyone to be safe and not travel if it’s not necessary. running the risk of being denied entry with a pending application is not worth it. we’ve come so far. people’s rights are being violated everywhere, it’s better to err on the side of caution.

I-751: Received extension letter before biometrics notice
I mailed in my application about 2 weeks ago and just received the 48 month extension letter today. I did not receive anything about biometrics - is this normal? It seems like most people get a biometrics notice first. Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything. thanks!

January 30, 2025 Notice Was Returned To USCIS Because The Post Office Could Not Deliver It. I just got this message and I am wondering what it’s about. It’s frustrating that I have changed address and I still miss my mail because they keep sending it to the old address. Has this happened to anyone before and who knows what they notice is about?(justwondering). I have done an e-request. Just my curious self trying to figure it out in a vaccum.
