Texas service centre - almost 15 months, no update , i-130 (CR1 visa)
"Hi! I’m the spouse of a U.S. citizen, filing from outside the U.S. It’s been almost 15 months with no update yet. My case is at the Texas Service Center, and I feel like it’s a bit slower compared to others.

Green Card/ EAD
Me and my spouse are from Nepal and India. we applied for 485, 485 EAD, and AP on Jan 24, 2025 through cross chargebity taking his EB2 priority date and my nationality. Our receipt number starts with 'IOE'. Does it means Natiinal Benefit Center (NBC) as processing center? In our biometric doc, it was mentioned NBC but we are not sure. initially it was showing 2 months to get EAD however timeline increased after biometric to 5 months now. how long does it generally takes to receive EAD in such scenario?
green card interview done now!
I’m so confused had interview now for i130 and i485 the officer didn’t ask me or my wife one question about my marriage or anything lol just straight to i485 yes or no questions and that’s it 15min max and I was out. Didn’t even ask my wife anything but he did say he seen everything online before I came in and I went with my 4 year old and my new born which is 2 weeks old. Am I approved or not 😂
Dependent visa status during i485
Hello I (primary) have filed for i485, i765 and i131 on March 15th with my wife as dependent. We both are on our own H1B visas. Biometrics was done April 18th.
My wife is about to lose her job at the end of this month and given the job market it could be tough to find an other job within 60 days to maintain her H1B status.
What are our options?
Rejection of Renewal Form I-131 Application for travel document or advance parole
Hi, I submitted form i-765 and i-131 for renewing my EAD and advance parole, i-765 was approved without payment since my i-485 is still pending and i submitted the receipt notice but i-131 is rejected and today i get my package back and they stated i need to pay for i-131. Last time I checked online it’s still free for those with pending i-485 but why i-131 need to pay while i-765 is remind free during pending of form i-485?
my husband told me not to renew the i-131 since the current cost is $630, he said it’s not worth it and better to wait greencard to be approved. I just afraid I need it before they approve the i-485 tho but I’m agree $630 is not worthed. I hope my visa bulletin will current soon so I no need to worry this much
