Tip of the day
Hey everyone! If you didn’t already know, there are two ways to check your case status with USCIS:
1. USCIS Online Account – This is the main account you create at my.uscis.gov, where you can file applications, get case updates, and communicate with USCIS.
2. Case Status Online – This tool at egov.uscis.gov/casestatus lets you check your case status by entering your receipt number. Sometimes, updates appear here before they show up in your USCIS account.
For example, I recently saw an update stating that my case was being prepared for review by an officer. This update came from the National Benefits Center (NBC) before my case was transferred to my local field office.
If you want to stay on top of your case and get the latest updates, be sure to check both your USCIS Online Account and Case Status Online!

Congratulations to My Mum ❤️💃🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
So I filed a petition for my mother September 1st last year, but around Mid February this year, I was yet to get any update asides from the receive notice, I was worried, so I texted them through the USCIS Website to let them know I’m in the military and my case should not be taking this long. I got a response back that evening that they are reviewing my case, the following day we got interview scheduled for April 1st. I was happy.
At the interview, they just asked my mum a couple questions about me and my job, she answered all correctly, and they asked me to say how old my siblings are. I did. it was all smooth as we were all just joking and interacting without being tensed. on the spot we got her I-130 Approval Notice, and the next day her I-485 was Updated to approved. I’m just so happy for her 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

"I am renewing my I-765 and checked the website, which states there is no fee for renewal. However, when I attempt to fill out the form online, it shows a fee of $260. My I-765 category is C09.
If I choose to mail the form, where should I send it?
Should I file online or by mail?

Awaiting Welcome Letter?
Welcome letters are usually sent soon after I-130 approval, let's say before 21 days even though there is an established period for these to be received.
