traveling with a DUI and green card.
hello everyone - has anyone traveled recently with a DUI on their record? DUI is from 2015 and I became a GC holder last year May 2024. I’ve been told I should have no issues as green card was granted therefore DUI was adjudicated at time of GC approval.

my husband did! we went overseas for 2 months and came back January 15th tough . it was before all those new changes

i would not travel just to be safe.
but you can still try,it is up to you.

I did travel in March on a closed-loop Cruise to Mexico and had no issues at all, but it is my understanding land and airport CBP checkpoints are stricter. My lawyer says I’ll be fine, but I want to read or talk to someone that has traveled recently.
