welcome letter??
i've been waiting for 11 days and i still haven't received any welcome letter, is it normal? do i need to send an inquiry or i need to file i-824? i know the normal time range is 2-6 weeks but i saw a lot of people got their case transferred to the nvc in 3-7 days 😢 #ir2 #welcomeletter #nvc

Considering the Trump administration's strict approach toward immigration, how safe do you think someone is if they have a work permit, a pending VAWA and I-485 application, a prima facie determination, no criminal record, but an overstay? I read today that even permanent residents are being detained without reason and denied entry without explanation. What’s your perspective on this

Exhausted and Frustrated
Today make a year since I sent in my application and it seems like they toss my case a side the rfe was for a simple yes or no questions on the I-485 for about inadmissibility and its been over 7 months since I've responded, and its stuck at actively reviewing, no interview no other Rfe ,so why they taking so long to make a decision,I've sent in a lot of evidence, bank statements, car insurance,photo other insurance many photosi don't know what else they are waiting for.
I so badly want to see my parents,especially my sick dad and my kids, two will be graduating in July Omg.
I can't even go away too long either maybe couple days because my husband had a stroke so I have to be here to take of him.
But just to have the freedom of not dealing with this immigration thing with everything being so crazy would put me at ease a bit right now.
Please pray for me and I hope everyone waiting with me will get their approval soon.
