@Mi Am it’s actually possible, the whole abusive relationship happened when I lived with the abuser in the US, I left cause I had to but I can still finish the process abroad

good question, I’m also Brazilian and have been waiting for over 3 years. if, by any chance, they didn’t let me get in again (even with my advance parole), would the case be transferred to Brazil?

@Gods daughter ❤️ chat @Emerson Cavalcanti my mother applied for vawa and she’s still in the US but I was already in Brazil when she started working on it with the lawyers, since the abuser did things that also affected me pretty bad, the vawa process extended to me, I don’t know if it makes a difference but I was under 21 years old and instead of applying for adjustment of status, we filled the I 824 form to process it abroad by NVC
