hello, what would you do? I485 still processing at the Charleston field office. My daughter’s wedding is in January 2026 in South Africa. Would you wait for processing or would you apply for a travel document. IDK the processing time for a travel document. Both seem to be long. What is your advice?

Typing mistake on my father’s name

Hello Everyone, Just got my welcome mails from USCIS but had one issue.My father’s name is KISHOR but they wrote KLSHOR on the I-485 application to adjust status.What can i do to correct this error

after get welcome latter by nvc how long it takes to submit all supportive documents and ds-260 form, please share your experience here in which time you submitted all your documents

i got welcome latter by 10 may and then got pcc appointment and still waiting for certificate so and I didn’t submit my ds-260 so i want to know that how long everyone takes for that plz must share your experience because I’m worried about delays

It seems like is only USC getting approved mostly. I know 2022 at May but there are some 2022 with April PD that haven't gotten approved. It looks like is 2027/2028 before they start 2023😔😫

Hello everyone. Here to check, if anyone can help or suggest something on my case. My 765 was approved a month ago but never received or was never shipped. meanwhile my interview is scheduled next month. Now, as I never received my Social or 765 card our joint financial documents (joint bank account, tax, etc) cannot be done. What joint documents can be obtained in situation like this. thanks :)

I-485 under VAWA, 0$?

Hi everyone, I got my VAWA approved on April 25th and received my EAD now I’m finally ready to file for Adjustment of Status (I-485). I had an immigration attorney who helped me with my VAWA case, but it was very expensive and I’m still paying that off. So now, to save money, I’m trying to do the AOS process on my own — taking my time, carefully reading all the USCIS instructions and making sure I do everything right. Here’s where I need help from others who’ve gone through this: While checking the USCIS fee schedule (Form G-1055), I noticed that for applicants filing under VAWA, it says the filing fee for the I-485 is $0. It sounds amazing — but honestly, it feels too good to be true 😅 The case manager from my attorney’s office told me I would still have to pay around $1,400 just in government filing fees, even without legal help. But now I’m seeing it written officially on the USCIS website that it’s $0 for VAWA self-petitioners, and I’m really confused. So if you’ve been through this recently — especially if you got your VAWA approved this year and are applying for AOS — could you please tell me what your experience was? Did you actually pay the filing fee or not? Any help or confirmation would be really appreciated. Thank you so much! 🙏

hi everyone i passed the second interview a month ago they changed the i 485 case active reniew the first interview was 5 months ago and they just refused and a new setup both interviews were great but there is no news what should i do guys

Hi everyone, Has anyone ever gotten this message on their i360 months after vawa and i485 has been approved. The same I360 receipt number. I didn’t send anything to them since approval. I mean, have had my Greencard in hand since Dec 2024.
