traveling on advance parole
have anyone travel on their advance parole lately? I want to travel but I’m from a country with a partial ban ( Antigua & Barbuda). I travelled on my advance parole once back in December 2024 and re entry was smoooth. 15 minutes in secondary inspection. I wanna try again. thoughts?
F2a - IOE - with NOIR
My priority date is December 2022, and I got approved in my case on January 2024. But on November 2024 I got a NOIR the reason is because they explained me in a letter that my case was approved when my category isn’t current because the visa bulletin got a regress . Now it’s more than 1 year and a half and I don’t hear back anything from them. it’s frustrating ugh!!! Somebody in the same situation? or know what’s next?
EB2 NIW – Priority Date August 2024, Texas Service Center, no Premium Processing. Anyone with a similar case? What are your expectations or timelines?

charged $1020 Toronto preclearance
I have a 5 year combo card under VAWA/i485 and we are supposed to be exempt from the fee and CBP charged me anyways at Toronto pre-clearance and said they will charge $1020 every time I ask for parole back. they said under 245 in their system it’s not checked “yes” and they processed me as if I was TPS, DACA or PIP. they didn’t care about my pending 485 nor did they research the expansions. they said that’s just how they are doing it and his supervisor told him to charge me. they asked me about the abuse and photo copied the TPO I have. they told me to apply for a refund and dispute it on my own with no direction on who to contact to do so. they said if I can show they refunded me then they will update it if I have to be processed again at Toronto.
update:March 19
after escalating through a complaint, receiving a doubled down response that that is how they were processing VAWA, I.e carved out of the exception with DACA and other categories. I responded about the legal discrepancies in their interpretation of the statute and said I would be escalating to all oversights, including congress via my senator and the Ombudsman. 7 emails to different parts of the agency such as DHS trip and civil liberties but not having to escalate to senate, I received an email from the YYZ port yesterday that said the following:
Dear Ms
A higher-level review was conducted internally, and we agree with your position. As such, we will be processing a refund of your parole fee in the amount of $1020. The typical timeframe for a refund will be 2-4 weeks and will be credited back to your original payment method.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
