1 st anniversary
Hi all today is my 1st year anniversary of submitting i485. cob India. type eb1c . no api updates beyond 09/11 the day when visa numbers were exhausted for the last year . per Emma the file is in San Jose from 03/11 . Wish me luck so that I will get the approval before the next anniversary. This entire process has been really helpful. It has taught me how to patient. Thank you all

Hello everyone. I am a K-1 petitioner, and my I-129F petition for my fiancé was approved on December 31, 2025. The case has not yet been transferred to the NVC. My fiancé is from one of the 75 countries that may be subject to a suspension. My question is: will my case still be transferred to the NVC despite the possible suspension, or could it remain at USCIS because of it?

Will the Proposed U.S. Visa Ban Affect My Pending IR-1/CR-1 Petition from Azerbaijan?
Hello everyone,
I am a U.S. citizen originally from Azerbaijan. I became a U.S. citizen in 2019. In 2024, I married my wife in Azerbaijan and filed an I-130 petition for her and our child in September 2024 under the IR-1/CR-1 category (family-based immigration).
Since the filing, I have been outside the United States to be with my family due to an urgent family situation. Our case is still pending and has not been approved yet.
Recently, I read news that the U.S. government may ban permanent visas for citizens of 75 countries, and Azerbaijan is included among them.
My question is:
Since my I-130 was filed in September 2024, will this potential new law affect my pending visa petition and my family’s ability to immigrate? Will the new rules apply to my case even though the petition was already submitted before the ban?

I already rescheduled it once and it’s in Houston.
can any one help me what option do I have in such case
the only credible fear I have is the ice detain looking at the current situation
