Green Card approved
I was fired from our case on December 21, 2021. My work authorization and travel documents were renewed on July 16, 2024. The Vawa was approved on April 10, 2025. The RFE was received on May 19, 2025. I had an interview and was approved on September 30, 2025.
The officer was kind and friendly when I asked questions. It was nothing serious; we were just friends. I want to thank everyone involved. I pray for those who are still on the journey. May God grant you all your heart’s desire. It’s indeed a frustrating process, but I put my faith in God. It worked out for me, and I believe it will work out for all of you. I was approved on-site, and my children are very grateful.

hi, my case was at Potomac service center, than it was at vermont service center, now it’s at Baltimore field center. I live in Md with my spouse. our PD is March 21st. it’s going to be 19 months. all we have is the receipt number, what should I be doing? we want an answer. USCIS is not giving us updates… My spouse is a USCIS citizen. what can we do? this depressing.
so far so good
I requested expedited request for my advance parole three times before I was finally approved yesterday. I have to travel to my home country for my wedding at the end of the month

Medical Experience
Hey everyone,
I figured I’d share my husband’s experience at his medical exam in Frankfurt, Germany.
We arrived 1 hour earlier than our appointment time, and they took us early.
First, my husband was given a number. This is the order in which they call you back for initial paperwork.
You give the lady your DS-260, 4 passport photos, your passport, vaccination history, and any medical notes from your doctor.
After that, they take the urine sample. Then, they do an x-ray of your chest. Then comes the blood test. After all of the those things, the doctor calls you into the exam room. There, your blood pressure and temperature are taken. After, an eye exam is performed (read the smallest line that you can).
After the eye exam, my husband was instructed to remove all of his clothing other than his underwear. The doctor then examined his body for any unusual rashes and whatnot. He was due for an updated tetanus shot so that was given to him shortly after.
The doctor then finished the physical exam + vaccination, and my husband put his clothes back on and was told to drop off the exam paperwork to the lady up front. There, he paid a total of 485€. We were in the clinic for about 2 hours maximum.
My husband was told he’d soon receive an email with a bill for the labs. I guess he still has to pay more…
It’s been 2 days since my husband’s medical appointment, and he still has not received the email. He also never received results.
Will he get his results soon? Just curious as to what we should expect.
Thank you everyone, and best of luck on your journeys. 😊🙏

Goverment Shutdown - Perm / LC
With the U.S. government shutdown now in effect, I’m wondering how this will impact cases like mine.
Will the Office of Foreign Labor Certification stop processing PERM cases during the shutdown?
If a case is already under review, does it just get frozen until funding is restored?
