naturalization!
hello all, im here again just for a quick question. I applied for my naturalization 5 months ago, October 15 2025. how long it takes to get a letter / interview / response or whatever. just curious 👀. the time frame is by case, state , situation… 🤷🏻! got waived for digital prints and other things included REF. they sent me a letter saying they got all from me and apparently I need to wait now. why they don’t contact me for the interview ? btw, I’m in FL - Orlando .
here we go again. Kansas City Field Office NBC
-Biometrics on 01/06/2026
-case was updated the same day to « actively reviewing your case »
- Interview scheduled 01/30/2026 for 03/10/2026
-Attended the interview but they haven’t updated my case (7 days later)
Hired a lawyer for my case & I think the agent interviewing me did not like my lawyer, there was a bit of tension between them :(
Came to the US on a F-1 in 2021; F-1 got terminated in 2023 and i applied for a TPS in March 2023 (Cameroon) which I had from March 2024 until August 2025.
Met my spouse in March 2022 started dating October 2022, talked marriage in February 2023, but decided to wait for my spouse to graduate (got married in june 2025); have been living together since May 2023 & moved in with my spouse’s parents in July 2025 before I stopped working
-He asked a lot more question about my immigration history; I have a New York driver license that I have not updated since I moved to Kansas, lost it in 2024 and asked for a new one(New York driver license with a Kansas adress) - The interviewer though that it was odd but didn’t ask why I haven’t changed it. I lost my EAD around when I was waiting for a replacement got my car in 2025 & have been updating my vehicle registration every time I moved
-I have had more than 5 address in the past 5 years.(NewYork; Missouri and Kansas) And I think that he though that I met some people during my stay to « organize a wedding »
-How many times I have been to the US, and on what visa? What school I attended and what major? am I sure? where was my school located? And why travel to NY if I was enrolled at UMKC? who did I meet there? where they US citizen or Cameroonian? stuff like that. « because I have no family in America, but my family knows some americans who like to travel to Cameroon💁🏾♀️ »
-Overall I think he was just trying to do his job but I’m suprised that we were barely questioned on our marriage
Because I’m used to the longggg wait with USCIS processing… I know this is not going to be the fastest case. I can’t wait to go back to school and provide for my household…
Let’s always remember that we are not alone. I wish us all the best

Good afternoon. I am seeking advice from individuals who share similar life experiences. My I-360 was approved back in September; however, USCIS was not granting deferred action at that time. In November, I reached out to my attorney to ask how to proceed regarding the new deferred action updates. She stated they were unsure how to move forward since the process was so new. After receiving no response for two months, I was finally told that the only way to be considered for DA was by re-applying for a Work Permit (I-765). I already have one denied I-765 from my initial filing in April, and I am concerned about another denial. I have noticed many others are submitting a G-325A instead of an I-765. Furthermore, the paralegal on my case has left the firm, and I have not had a reply from them since January. Although I signed the I-765 paperwork and provided new photos months ago, I have not received a receipt number or any communication. As a college student with limited funds, I cannot afford a new attorney. I am under a lot of stress and I am aware that everyone is undergoing such stress as it it not a case exclusive to me; nevertheless, I would appreciate any guidance on how to handle a non-responsive firm or this specific filing process. Thank you for your time, and my apologies for such a lengthy paragraph.

I applied for I751 under the 3 years rule in December 2024, and applied for N400 in December 2025. Any idea how long it could take?
