Traveling During I-485 Pending Status with an L2S Visa?
Has anyone traveled domestically within the U.S. while their I-485 was pending under L1/L2 status?
I have a pending I-485, valid L2S status/visa, and only applied for the EAD (not Advance Parole yet). Curious to hear others’ experiences traveling internationally while maintaining L status.
The ban or visa pause give me headache and heartache.
The 75 countries on ban or visa pause they called it, give me headache and heartache, whenever I get to think about it, after all these years? finally when I and my wife feel like we are about to be through with all wait, then a visa pause??😡
Why not unpause the ones for families?
Why punish families that are doing everything right to be together for good, it makes family plans to be on a hold. I don't like this pause on visa thing at all....

Hi all. I got laid off while on H1B in November 2025. I filed an I-539 (H1B to B2) before the 60-day grace period ended to extend my status. I-539 would expire on June 7th, 2026. I also have an underlying pending EB2 NIW I-485 petition, but I got an RFE in March 2026 on the I-140 portion (planning to respond). Question is, would my pending I-485 (with an RFE on the I-140) keep me in legal authorized stay beyond June 7th, 2026? Or do I need to file another I-539? To avoid falling out of status? Thank you!

sworn affidavits for 751?
my husband and I have 2 kids, own a home and cars together and I have photos of us traveling 3 countries in 2025. the 751 days that my documents should include affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage or relationship.
this seems absurd after 10 years of being together with kids and assets. anyone have any experience with this?
