I need help
hello guys I need help.Me and my spouse have interview next month and our joint bank account has been not in used for almost 6months because after I got my work permit I was still unemployed for almost 4months so we didn’t pay much attention to that joint account. So please can I still go with the old joint account? if yes, what if they ask me why It wasn’t in use since February? but my wife is heavily pregnant and her due date is almost there can it also be used as proof ?

It still hasn't sunk in completely. From the time I stepped foot in this country on an H1B visa till now has been a long and difficult journey for me. I'm very thankful for all the people who have shared their journey online, and for various websites, which provided a little more clarity on my timeline while I was "watching paint dry", lol.

can anyone guide me please I need an answer asap.. When a step parent going with a child to the us embassy overseas… Do we have to get a motorize letter from the other parent stating that they don’t have custody of the child ?
Because I have full custody of my son when I came to the us I left him with my mom but his dad still supports him financially…. Do I have to get a consent letter from his dad ?
I-131 Travel experience
I came back today after traveling for 2 weeks. Landed in JFK, went through secondary inspection as expected. There were 5 people waiting before me, so it took 20 mins for the officer to reach my documents and another 15 mins to process. She was nice, took my fingerprints and asked only one question which was my address and I was good to go.
I need help
hello I have interview coming next month, but my problem is that I was unemployed for some long months and just recently got a job. me and my wife bank statement hasn’t been active because of unemployment and how she also got paid is different. we live in a 2 bedroom apartment with her older and all our bills and rent are paid. My wife is 7months pregnant too. but my question is that how are we going to prove to them that we are good financially but our back joint accounts hasn’t been active due to the unemployment issues. can someone with similar experience help me with any thing please.

I had filed my renewal in may 2025 still no update only got receipts anyone got approved this year? any idea which month they are currently processing my center is Lin

for ap it shows old fingerprint used as of 22 July
and then no update after that

anyone whose lottery H1B picked this year and filed a petition ? a new fresh H1B and never entered USA ? H1B consular petition approved from Vermont and latest approved receipt date ?
I see some post stating 9th June receipt date new H1B for consular processing petition approved for California center. We have few resources from our project having new H1B filed at Vermont center in first week of June, but all are just in still progress status. is it Vermont too slow ? or all centers take long time ?

If you want to see when an officer last reviewed your case, here’s what you can do:
1️⃣ Log in to your USCIS online account.
2️⃣ Go to this link:

3️⃣ Delete my receipt number and replace it with yours to see the last time an officer checked your case or made any updates.

An officer checked my case yesterday and requested a new background check, so hang in there — progress is happening! 💚
GC Approved! PD - Dec 22
Applied together with a spouse. We were invited for interview at NY FO. Interview went smooth - mostly yes and no questions,, there was additional question due to my past visas and that's it! Few weeks later our case got approved!
We don't know for sure but we believe reaching out to the congress representative was helpful.
