San Francisco Field Office desicion after interview
I completed my EB3 green card (I-485) interview on September 26, 2025, at the San Francisco Field Office. During the interview, the officer mentioned that I would receive a response within a week, but it has now been more than 6 weeks, and I still haven’t heard anything from USCIS.
I’d like to ask if anyone else who had their interview at the same office has received a decision yet, and how long it took for USCIS to respond.
My priority date is December 6, 2022, under the “All Other Countries” category.

2 people that I know got their interviews at the end of September and the officer told them that there weren’t any visas available anymore for the fiscal year. This week one of them reach out to live officer (Emma) and he said that when this happens, they transfer the case to NBC.. when the visas are available again, NBC transfer again to the the fiscal office for adjudication and that’s the reason it was taking longer. I’m just replying what I’ve heard. Don’t know if this is the case, but it makes sense… Both cases are still pending, like yours. Our fiscal office is in Kansas City.

@miguel mejia your PD is not current yet. officer mentioned they will respond within a week but the date is still not current for you. may be officer didn’t know that the pd was not current at the time of interview, later when he noticed about it, may be he put your case “Case Remains Pending”. because visa is still not available for you
