Anyone here who applied for I 751 and went through divorce? my last post is from December and with all the immigration changes I have to get divorce, get a lawyer because they do interviews now.. my husband left and moved to another state. I'm trying to figure it out..any advice? do you think I should wait ? I heard that you just get 10y GC mailed or anyone went through interviews?
Interview scheduled 🙌🙏
Hey everyone, just wanted to share an update! My PD was May 9th, I did my biometrics on June 4th, and I just got my interview scheduled for August 14th. I’m feeling a little nervous, but I’m trusting that everything will work out—both for me and for all of us still waiting. 🙏🇺🇸

Denied after PP?
So my case is one of those that fell behind the adjucator’s desk 😅
My PD is Aug/23, received a RFE on Nov/23 and responded on Feb/24, since then completely silent. I even made an inquiry on Oct/24 but got the same response as everyone else.
My case is current as of today, my question is, is it worth it to go for PP?
I know that some people just would answer to go for it, but just for reference the fee today it almost worth 2 month salary in my currency. Not to mention the fear of getting denied after PP.
Has anyone received a denial after PP?

Case transferred to Non-local FO in Yakima, WA on 05/28/2025 according to EMMA live agent. I was lucky that one of the many times I contacted a live agent one of them gave me detail information about my case, including the date when my case was transferred from NBC to the Yakima FO.
When they mentioned my case had been transferred I contacted EMMA the following days at different hours to confirm the information was accurate. I think chatted about 10 times with an agent in period of two weeks and 9 out of 10 confirmed my case had been transferred to Yakima, only one agent said it was still at the NBC.
All the process was handled by the company’s immigration attorneys.
I wish all the best to everybody. Keep hope and faith alive. You’re approval is coming soon.
Feel free to ask me any questions about my case.
UPDATE: I just received the approval notice for my wife’s case.

my case
Hello everyone. I wanted to share the history of my case. My husband is Albanian but has had an American passport for almost 2 years. I am currently in Albania, waiting on the immigration process for about 4 years now. We first applied in 2021. In 2022, it was denied (due to suspicion that the marriage was for papers). On April 8, 2024, the case was re-submitted. On July 5, 2025, the case became “actively being reviewed,” and two days later, on July 7, 2025, the decision came out as approved.
Now, please tell me — how long does it usually take from this point until I receive the visa or get the interview?
Thank you if you can give me any information because this process has been very frustrating.

Vawa case
Hey, I wanted to share something personal. I left my husband about 3 years ago. A few months ago, he wanted to reconcile and even went to some anger management and AA classes, but then he stopped. Unfortunately, he started being emotionally abusive again and hit me once. I never withdrew my application because my lawyer advised me not to because what if he doesn’t change . Now I just found out I’m pregnant and I’m worried it might affect my case or be seen as fraud. I do have a lot of evidence of the abuse though. my Vawa has been pending for 31 month now
Is anyone from the IOE09229 group still waiting for a decision?
I received an RFE in February 2025. My priority date is November 2, 2023, and I submitted my RFE response on April 24, 2025. The status changed to “actively being reviewed” on May 8, 2025 — and since then, I haven’t received any updates.
Everyone else in my group received a decision within 15 days of their case moving to “actively being reviewed,” but in my case, it’s now been 2 full months with no response.
👉 Is anyone else going through something similar?
