CR-1 Visa – Administrative Processing / “System Down” – Riyadh Embassy
Hi everyone,
I recently had my CR-1 visa interview at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh. The interview went well, the officer said my documents were complete and they didn’t need anything additional from my side. However, after the interview, my CEAC status shows "REFUSED"
The officer mentioned that the system was down
I wanted to check here if anyone has had a similar experience with CR-1 visa administrative processing at Riyadh Embassy, especially where:
The officer said your documents were fine,
No extra documents were requested,
There was a “system down” or processing delay.
How long did it take for your case to move forward? When did you receive your passport? Any advice or updates would be really helpful!

I never sent in my good moral with my initial appllication, when I asked chat gpt it says its best if i send it now because it could be that that it what they re waiting for,also they will send rfe anyway so I shouldnt wait for the rfe I should just send it now to them.
when i asked my lawyer she said that I need to wait and I cant just send stuff to them.

And we just had a baby 2 months ago, how can I add baby so that baby and my wife will immigrate together? USCIS website is not clear about this scenario. Do we have to file separate I130? Has anyone gone through this similar situation?
