I-485 Denied.... Please I need any Advice!!!!!!!!
My i-485 got denied this morning,
Reason: You are seeking adjustment of status to that of a preference-based immigrant, and you were not in a lawful nonimmigrant status when you filed your Form I-485.
Again there is this statement: The evidence of record shows that, when you filed your application, you were lawfully present in the United States. Your period of authorized stay has expired.
I did file for my i-130 a while back and it was approved. Have been in the U.S for 8yrs legally with a pending asylum case.
Will appreciate any advice on what to do next thank you all.

Mi caso decía 26 de Mayo 2022, estamos revisando de forma activa su Formulario pero ayer se actualizó la fecha, ahora dice 02 de agosto 2023, estamos revisando de forma activa su Formulario. Alguien que le haya pasado lo mismo favor indicarme su experiencia y/o a que se debe esta actualización, gracias 🙏🤗
I-485 Question
Does everyone have to get notification saying “USCIS is actively reviewing” on I-485 before your case gets approved?
My case status never mentioned that, but I received a medical RFE for I-485. Yes, I already submitted my RFE and still waiting on their acknowledgment of receiving it.
Is this a good sign? Is this a last step before approval?

Finally some good news in our case. Checked my case status this morning and it said updated today to case actively being reviewed, no change right, well decided to log in and I have an approval notice in my document tab for I130. I485 also has an update saying it’s being worked on. One step closer….

My case been placed since September 2019. So far I renewed 2 times my EAC. Still I’m waiting for approval for I-360. My last correspondence with them was in January 2022 regarding changing address.
My case got lost. No response since 2022 January. it’s says “ Your correspondence has been received. We are reviewing it” and that is it. My attorney send them last July 2023 additional some RFE as wikeup call to find where is my case. My case is moved to Nebraska because Vermont got stuck. Almost 1438 days still no aprouval on I 360.
3 year 11 months nothing. I don’t know what I should do . Everything started normally since 2022 January I stuck like donkey on a hill.
I need advice please.

divorce after 10 years of marriage
hello all,
I was married to US citizen for 10 years almost and our marriage was going up and down for sometimes.
I did my best to make our life better by working full time and doing school full time to get better career for future in same time my wife was enjoying her life with her friends and family.
she filled for me to get green card and 8 months ago I got 10 years green card and two months ago I became US citizen.
on December 2022 I found medical report for my wife it says that she had STDs 😔and I found condoms in her bag so I faced her she admitted she was cheating on me.
I gave myself long time to see if I can forgive her but I couldn’t.
i decided to divorce bcus I couldn’t slide this
do you guys think USCIS WILL BOTHER ME ? or question me in future?
about change of address
i worked for my emploer for more than a year but due to retrogression my case was still pending .. so i told my employer i will be back in 4 5 months .. so can i still have same old address for uscis and have different state address in usps .. will they forward my package to different state if they get any update in old address .. any idea
