I-485 Denied.... Please I need any Advice!!!!!!!!
My i-485 got denied this morning,
Reason: You are seeking adjustment of status to that of a preference-based immigrant, and you were not in a lawful nonimmigrant status when you filed your Form I-485.
Again there is this statement: The evidence of record shows that, when you filed your application, you were lawfully present in the United States. Your period of authorized stay has expired.
I did file for my i-130 a while back and it was approved. Have been in the U.S for 8yrs legally with a pending asylum case.
Will appreciate any advice on what to do next thank you all.

were you in status when you file fir asylum? were called for interview for i485 before they denied your i485 or it was denied without interview?

@God is good savior of the world (Jesus) I was in status before i filed for Asylum.. and when i got married with my asylum case still pending i filed I-130 and it got approved and later filled I-485 then 3 months later i just received a denial notice with no interview
