Using Advance Parole for traveling
Hello good people,
I am an F-1 student applied for I-485 on March 2023. It has been five months no update on my case except biometrics. My PD is current. Being an F-1 student, one potential risk while using the Combo card is that in case I-485 get declined, I will no longer apply for AOS. Unfortunately, USCIS made my situation unfavorable and I have no other options but using the Combo card especially for travel purposes.
I need to travel due to some urgent reasons. I am looking for advices who have similar experiences.
1. While traveling outside with Advance parole and returning to the USA did you face any issues?
2. Do I need to show any documents to CBP after returning to the USA?

I just saw on the documents tab my standalone approval for my EAD today. how long till I receive the card now?

My PD is 15 July 2021. last year My interview was scheduled but then got an canceled week after, and later they told me it's waives off.
after year of silence, last month I received a RFE notice from Baltimore office for Medical exam. which I send it them right away, and I've received Acknowledgment message too that USCIS has received my response.. do any one knows how much time normally Baltimore field office taking to process the case after RFE.
mine case is already over 2 years, I think they are not touching old cases anymore.

I just got my EAD card today. I had to go pick it up at my Attorney office, I don’t know why it got delivered over there since I got all the receipts notice at my home address.
I just got my EAD card today, after 8 months of waiting. I had to go pick it up at my Attorney office, I don’t know why it got delivered over there since I got all the receipts notice at my home address. I’m very grateful for getting my Employment authorization, just a little bit sad that is not a combo card to allow me to fly to my country to see my family. I’ll keep very positive and optimistic that my other cases are going to be processed soon!
