for the biometrics appointment, who and where will it take place?
I ask because I wonder if me (USC) or my wife (Brazilian) will have to do the biometrics.
we are both currently residing in Brazil (I’m just visiting long term). I’m just worried since my “permanent address” is back in the states, they might schedule us an appointment in the states?

Issues proving eligibility 540 days EAD Extension
My EAD c10 expired in 08/2023 and we submitted back in June my application for renewal. as it turns out, the 797 notice only says biometrics don’t need to be recollected and in the top right corner where it has the code, there’s an “N/A”.
Right now I’m facing termination. because my employer wants some document stating I’m eligible for the 540 days extension and it doesn’t matter how many times I give them the links at uscis website but it’s not enough.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to get a letter from USCIS attesting this extension?

originally said 11 months, then taking longer than expected. Two weeks ago it changed back up to 6 months and this morning it said 7 months :(
staying positive but this isn’t the change I wanted to see!

Yesterday we received my son's work permit and the strangest thing is that in the application they never updated that it was approved. You already received your social security and work permit. Thank you God🙏 Ayer recibimos el permiso de trabajo de mi hijo y lo mas raro es que en la aplicacion nunca actualizaron que fue aprobada. Ya le llego social y permiso de trabajo. Gracias Dios🙏
Getting frustrated
Filed for VAWA in july 2020. Vawa approved in March 2023. Received RFE for medicals from NBC in April 2023. Response confirmed in May 2023. Got rfe for Biometrics from NBC for my older son in June. Biometrics done on Jul 31, 2023. Since then I have not heard anything. PD is April 2019. Anyone has a case with Chicago Field office? My attorney sent inquiry last week. I haven't heard back from them. The wait is now killing. I lost my nephew about a month ago. My heart is really home now.
"we have taken an action" but no change
I got 3 emails from USCIS stating that they have taken an action on my case, but I'm not seeing any activity on my account. the only thing I'm noticing is a little text above the i-131 that says "case closed", but no update under "history" or "documents".
anyone seen this before?
