I485 Filling Possible Even When Priority Date Is Not Current?
Hi everyone, does anyone have information on whether I can file for I-485 once my I-140 gets approved, even if my priority date is not current?

No, you can not file I485 when PD is not current. Make sure PD is current before filling.

right now PD 1January, 2023 and before can file but the visa won’t be issued until PD becomes current

@J A that’s not correct. PD of Jan 1, 2023 can apply now according to current visa bulletin

@olu mikk if your PD is before 01 Jan 2023 (filling date), you can submit your I-485 application.
