Hello,
I need help, I feel like my lawyer is not explaining anything and guiding us correctly. My husband came to US in 2017 and has had an active asylum case since then. In 2022 we got married and I am a us citizen, after or marriage his lawyer said we couldn’t wait for asylum decision anymore and need to file i130. We filed and got approved for i130 and now he said the asylum case is dismissed and we need to file something called 601a or he will be deported. Has any one else had experience like this? My husband now has no work permit and no status and our lawyer is just saying different things every time. Any advice would be appreciated thank you. #601a #asylum #i130
How long did you wait for regular EB-1A petition approval or denial?
I have already waited for 265 days. Obviously, I know that many people have been waiting far longer than me. However, the waiting rattles me and I just want some positive feedback.
So any info regarding your previous EB-1A waiting time would be helpful.

so I contacted USCIS today about not only my I-765, but also for my I-485 they had sent me a RFE in May for my I-485 and I sent in what they ask for and they sent notice on June 21 that received my response so that was 98 days ago, so I spoke to a live agent today and they said that they will expedite my case for my I-485 and they sent a item number expedite number, what do you guys think ?

I called USCIS today and was told that I was in queue to be scheduled for an interview as of September 21, 2023.
I applied for asylum before, I was then placed in removal proceedings in 2020. Married in early 2022. On December 2022, the judge dismissed the proceedings based on the marriage case and I currently have no lawyer. Do you think that I will be better off attending the married based interview with a lawyer if I were to be scheduled for one? and how long does it take to receive the interview notice from USCIS? Thanks!
