USCIS
I applied through USCIS. Congress passed extending government benefits act 2502 under which my case was to be expedited . USCIS was supposed to give decision within 150 days range after initial apply. it has been 430 days almost 365 days since the interview. Isn't that unlawful.

My wife and I submitted her i-130 in April of 2023. The same day we submitted we received notification that the case was received AND being actively reviewed. Is this unusual? Both updates say April 4th.
There have been no updates since we submitted, and our estimated processing time was showing 2 months in September, but then changed to “taking longer than expected”.
