I-130, i824
My sister, a U.S. citizen, applied for my dad, and we had quite a wait – 14 months – for his I-130 to be approved by the Texas Service Center.
Now, here's where things get a bit complex. We received the approval notice, which was a big relief, but it also said we needed to file an I-824, 'Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition.' We promptly filed the I-824, but now it's been 3 months, and the only update we've got is that they received our application in Vermont.
I understand these processes can take time, but it's been an emotional rollercoaster for our family, and we're looking for any guidance or insights on typical timeframes for I-824 processing. If anyone has any experiences or info to share, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!

Unresponsive lawyer
Marriage Green Card case, married to USC.
My PD is September of 2021, so it's been over 2 years. About a month ago, I got RFE for medical, bona fide marriage proof, and my lawyer's mistake on one of the forms.
My lawyer said he'll send everything over to USCIS as soon as they receive my medical. I sent the medical with the fastest option, paying like $60. It arrived at his office a little over a week ago. I got an update from his office that they received my medical, but still no update on whether they sent the documents to USCIS or not. I suspect they probably didn't yet, cause he asked for additional information on the form he made a mistake on, around the end of last week.
I keep calling his office, but seems like he's avoiding my call now. Given that my case is taking a lot longer than usual, and RFE notice was given about a month ago, I was hoping that he'd be more prompt and get everything ready so he can send everything as soon as he receives my document (which he said he'll do). I was hoping that I'd get some update at least on the progress if he's still working on it.
Not sure if I'm being an impatient here.. am I?
