@Minnie Abd I received mine too but idk what’s next since I though that welcome letter is next. now it’s saying it was sent to my embassy/consulate

@Minnie Abd but to my understanding I need to file DS-160 and pay the fees and provide civil documents.

@Fernando brambila I suggest using visajourney.com. it’s confusing but that website has single handedly guided me throughout this process.

@Minnie Abd oh got it, I’ve been watching so many videos that I though we get welcome letter and we go to ceac and provide case number and invoice number and complete da-160 and provide civil documents and after that they approve your documents and send them to your embassy/consulate. I guess it’s different

@Fernando brambila I thought so too but they haven’t provided me any info regarding the invoice ID. keep in mind the DS-160 is valid for a month so you should def wait until the case status is ready. I think maybe every country has different ways of doing it. they are different consulates after all.
