visa issued and picked up nov 8 2023.
first you will be called to the window to give your papers then wait for the interview, all the officers who did the interview are female , there were three of them, you will be called by one of them, it's better to speak English directly to the officer if you can even if it's not perfect , be confident and speak to her with smile , don't hesitate with your answer , speak with her as you speak with a friend.
My biggest concern was my wife is in Yemen at the time of the interview but it seems they didn't mind.
She asked me who's your petition ( give her the name not just my wife or husband) ,, when you get married,, where she is now,, when the last time she was in usa,, what's her job,, do you have kids ( give the names and ages and if she's pregnant) , she also ask if we decide about the next baby name since my wife is pregnant so I told her my wife wants to name her...... and I want..... and asked her which one you like?. Finally she took five photos and asked when they were taken and with whom. Then she said everything is ok and gave me a white paper ( instructions how to check the visa).

Hello. I petition my Mom back on May 2022. We filed both I-130 and I-485 since she’s already here in the US visiting. By November 2022 they sent us a RFE and so we did and we received the decision by April 2023 stating that I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) has been approved but the I-485 (AOS) was denied. We don’t know what valid reason made them to come up with that decision, but by July 22,2023 We sent another I-485 again and this time we used a Legal Representative. So until now the status of the application says “Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent”. We received a letter not long after that update stating they will reuse the Biometrics from Past Year’s to current application so I assume it will expedite the process. The waiting period is hard especially when you need to do something. Hayys. Can someone please help me. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

in this case what should we do to get update? we can not wait forever without update
i did submit online service inquiries, live chat , sent email to governor but didnt get response i want only says nothing is outstanding right now if there is update will let u know :/
the evidence has been actively reviewing more than 6 months still no update no finalizing.

Renew non immigrant visa while waiting for immigrant visa interview appointment
hi Guys! I have a question, in case somebody here has been in the same situation as me. I’ve been DQ since Aug 9 but still haven’t gotten an interview appointment date. my non-inmigrant visa expires Jan 14. Should I pay the fees to renew my non-immigrant visa or should I just let it expire and wait for my immigrant visa interview? I’m a doctor and I don’t want to not be able to fly for congresses but I also don’t want to spend money on an immigrant visa fees if there is a high chance renewal can be denied.
what do you guy suggest ?

My Catagory: EB3 unskilled (from F1)
PD: 30 April 2022
Current status: Case Remain Pending (I-485), I-765 (EAD) and I-131 (TA) approved. I'm currently working under my Sponsor Company.
I've some questions regarding my husband application. He is a Portuguese citizen (Passport Holder) as well as a Bangladeshi citizen by born. He will apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization or E-visa under the Visa waiver program to visit me here in U.S. He is planning to come here in December-23 or January-24.
Under this program, he can stay here not above than 90 days. I included him in my I-140 and I-485 as follow to be join.
So, in these circumstances my question is_____
1. If he come here and for his long term stay what can I do?
2. Can I apply for his SSN?
3. Can he works under my sponsor?
I will be meeting him after more than three years and I just don't want to send him back Portugal again. Please suggest me if there any option for me. I will be very grateful to you guys always.

Submission of Documents at NVC
Question, I paid all fees and completed DS-260 application online and submitted all required documents last week but I checked online NVC case status it shows “action required” submit all documents send all documents in one package whereas at ceac status shows submitted. do we have to email documents to NVC?
