IR-1 form DS-260
I made a mistake in the DS-260 form by selecting “United Arab Emirates” as the country/region for my petitioner, but it should be “United States”. I emailed NVC to request an unlock, but they replied:
“Unfortunately, we are unable to reopen the form for corrections at this time. At the time of the applicant’s interview, you may notify the consular officer of any information which you were unable to modify in the DS-260 form.”
Has anyone experienced this before? Will this cause any issues during the interview? What should I prepare or explain to the consular officer?
Thanks in advance for your help!

proccing expedite request
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone has had a similar experience to mine with a Refugee Travel Document as a refugee applicant.
I applied for a Refugee Travel Document in August 2024 as a refugee, so it has been 11 months now. After my biometrics, I haven’t received any updates at all.
Two months ago, I submitted an expedite request because my sister, who lives alone in the UK, is pregnant and due to give birth on August 10. She has no other family there to help her, and I really need to be with her. Unfortunately, USCIS has not responded to the expedite request either. My lawyer has called USCIS twice and they told us someone would reach out, but no one has.
Has anyone here received a Refugee Travel Document recently as a refugee? How long did it take? Has anyone successfully expedited a Refugee Travel Document under similar circumstances? Or does anyone have any advice or experience with this situation?
Any information or help would be so appreciated. Thank you so much

Advance parole
Hello guys, Hope you are all well. Has anyone travelled with advance parole recently? I used it two times, first trip was during the former president and the second trip the new administration, it was in February. He just sat in the office. Both trips went smoothly when I returned to the US. I am planning to travel soon. I just want to know the experiences of the people who travelled recently. It will be greatly appreciated.
approved NIW with 29-Nov-2023 PD
i am from the row and have an approved NIW with PD 29-Nov-2023. My STEM OPT expires on 30-Nov-2025. Should I wait for Adjustment of Status (AOS) in US or start preparing to go home and do Consular Processing? This whole thing is taking too long and it is extremely frustrating at this point.
USCIS / VAWA Question – Please Help 🙏🏾
Hey everyone, I have a quick question for those of you who have gone through or are currently dealing with a VAWA case.
For the past couple of years, my lawyer has been the one submitting everything to USCIS and using her address on all documents.
But this time, I submitted my second RFE response myself and accidentally used my own address instead of hers. Now I’m a bit scared and wondering:
• Will this confuse USCIS?
• Do I need to file an address change?
• Should I or my lawyer submit another G-28 to fix it?
• Has this happened to anyone else?
I just don’t want this small mistake to affect my case negatively after everything I’ve already gone through. If you’ve experienced anything similar or have advice, I would really appreciate it. 🙏🏾

221(g) in Singapore for Indian H1B
we got 221(g) in Singapore embassy when we applied as Indian citizen. we waited for 4 weeks for embassy to complete administrative processing. then we have decided to transfer our visa application to our home country in India. can we appear for drop box, or we have to select in-person interview after electing “yes” for previously issued visa? does anyone know an expert in consular processing?
We have closed 11 years of distance.
I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone the best of luck as you navigate through the immigration process. I know it can be a challenging and sometimes overwhelming journey, but remember to stay positive and keep your faith strong. Each step you take brings you closer to your goals. You got this, and I am cheering you on every step of the way! 🫶🏽❤️

How Accurate Are Lawfully’s Rankings and AI Predictions for I‑130 Cases?
Hi everyone!
I’ve been using Lawfully Premium for my I‑130 case tracking and prediction. It currently shows me as #1 of 3 in my cohort, with a high probability window (11–15 July) for approval. I’m curious—how accurate have you found the ranking and AI‑based prediction, compared to what actually happened on your case?
Some things I’ve noticed:
• Lawfully states its AI predictions have about 93% accuracy, and some users report success rates as high as 98% .
• Trustpilot reviews often highlight how timely the updates are—sometimes even before the official USCIS notifications .
• However, community feedback shows that while some have had predictions come true, others found them optimistic or misaligned with real outcomes ().
So, to those who’ve been through it:
• How reliable was your ranking position? Did Lawfully’s match the order when USCIS actually made the decision?
• Did Lawfully’s predicted decision-date window hold true for you?
• Was the experience consistent across different form types (I‑130, F1 unmarried son 21 years and older from a US Citizen.)?
Thanks in advance for your honest insights! 🙏
