I-485J Changing employer after 1 year contract
Hello friends,
I almost finish a 1 year contract with my initial sponsor and would like to move to Houston after that. Like many of us, my I485 is still pending and I'm waiting for my PD to be current. Thus, I would like to ask for your experiences and advice about the process to file I485 J
- how do you persuade new employer to sign I485J for you?
- do you know any restaurant jobs available in Houston or nearby areas? please refer me

No Updates on I-485
PD is current. Filed November last year. Biometrics taken. EAD approved. AP shows biometrics taken.
I-485 has not changed state. All I see is fee waived and that it was received.
Should not I be see biometrics collected or CRP? Any ideas what is the reason or if that is normal? Could this be grounds to reach out to USCIS and inquire?

RFE..
hi Guys
so I summited my application in October 2023( marriage based) I did my biometric in December. in January 2024 I got RFE to summit medicals and more evidence to establish life together with my spouse.. the RFE stated that they want to make a final decision on my case and I was given till April to respond..now my question is after summiting this documents will they make a decision on my case? or will they still schedule me for an interview..is this a normal process? is there anyone with similar experience because I'm confuse as what to expect next when I respond to the RFE..thanks
I received request evidence at 20 November, and I send the evidence back at 04 December, and almost 3 months I don't have any result, anyone like mine situation ?

hello everyone I have a question. do you guys think once all PD 2020 completed USCIS will resume back from final action date July 2022 ? and date of filing September 2022. also I personally think there should be a restriction or cap for number of LC filled = number of visa available each year which is 10k for (unskilled) that’s the only way they can stop retrogression otherwise it will never stop because according to data there are more than 23k I-140 approved.

My mom is outside of the US, does anybody know how long would it take to send the case to the NVC for processing.
