Do I must bring Original Copy of Birth Certificate for the interview?
I received my interview notice. Does anybody know if I must bring the original copy of the birth certificate? as I do not have it anymore… thanks!
Also, why do they want all the documents to be brought to the interview again if we already submitted everything ..?
how to upgrade i485 f2a to cr1
My wife became citizen last year august and while my i130 already approved, I tried to upgrade 485 for which my lawyer sent letter 2 times in sept and then nov 2023 to uscis nbc, but upon checking with uscis on call recently its still showing f2a. representatives on call only says to send letter but cannot themselves take request to upgrade case. I wanted to know if there is anything I can do other than just sit and waiting until f2a becomes current. please help if anyone knows anything. Thanks!
Agent said my 485 is at NBC still
it’s been a 100 days and my case is still not transferred to a local field office. I was told my an agent that an officer was looking at my case the 01/27/2024, and that interview was waved, idk if this is a good sign, and idk if they can approve it there or they have to send it to a local field office.

I-751 & N-400 Probably a combo interview.
Hi guys, any help or information I’d appreciate it so much.
So I have my I-751 pending but my N-400 already scheduled for an interview March 7th. I’m going to start getting documents ready for the I-751 guessing that I might have a combo interview. Please could you please let me know what documents should I put together to take with me that day for the interview? And should I do if my interview day comes and didn’t hear anything about the I-751?

my case was transferred to texas on jan 3rd, i found out through emma and an agent told me that my case was looked at on the 26th of this month, what does that mean? does it mean that my approval is close?

finally some movement
I get an email with what I have coming in the mail and love and behold it’s a letter from USIS I didn’t have time too read the fine line so I took a screenshot and sent it too my husband who patiently has been waiting and he tells me it’s HIS work permit! I go back and looks nd sure is the letter says “ we have approved your application for employment” 🙏🏻 But nothing has changed on the websites 🤔

Finally my I-824 is approved & case has been sent to the nvc. Already received case creation & invoice . This was a pathetic long journey but keep praying to Allah & never lose your hope. He’ll just make your hardship into the bundle of joy & happiness that you ever can imagine.
