Does your employer and their lawyer intentionally delay GC process ?
Naive question maybe. Do you ever wonder that if you are working via a consultancy who makes money 20-40% from your salary, and they file your green card via their lawyer. Then is it possible that they "intentionally" delay things ? My lawyers filed my application in feb 2023, which uscis rejected, claiming my PD wasn't current, which it was. In fact it was 6 month earlier.
Then they "accidentally" opened medical envelope from uscis returned docs, got me to re send it, which wasted 2 months cuz i had to get new vaccines. And now i am wondering if there is an angle there cuz my employer knows once i get green card, i will run to find a permanent role.
How many of you work via a consultancy and got green card real fast or real slow ?
I-485 Aug 2022 Filing
My I-485 is at NBC, filed on Aug 31, 2022 but still haven’t got approval yet. Live chat agent advised me couple months ago that my interview was waived and transferred back to NBC from local field office (San Jose, CA). It’s been a long time so I’m a bit worried, has anyone been in the same boat? Thank you.

IR-1/CR-1 and IR-2 Green Card
My son and I were in consular processing, our case was at the NVC but my husband went from being a permanent resident to a US citizen, so we quickly applied for adjustment of status and reported the adjustment of status to the NVC. We sent all the necessary forms for adjustment of status including medical exams and evidence, we sent the I-485 forms and the corresponding I-765 for both (my son and me), my I-130 form was already approved and our son I was a companion in the consular process, but when we changed to adjustment of status and changed categories we had to present a new I-130 form for our son. In less than a month my son and I had our appointment on the same day for biometrics, the next day my EAD was approved, a week later my SS card arrived and two weeks after that my EAD card. To date I have not heard anything about my son's EAD and his case has not been updated either. I'm a little confused...anyone with a similar case? Our priority date is December 26, 2023.. well in my case the I-485 form indicates that the priority date is the same as that of my already approved I-130 form (November 6, 2019). How long could it take?

Hi guys, if anyone have the same experience please share.
Hi guys, if anyone have the same experience please share. I am an EB3 and my priority date is current (7/2020) I got an interview in Dec, 2023. they told me I should have heard the update soon after the interview. After 2 weeks of the interview, I chatted with Emma and knew that they sent my application to my local Field which is Dallas. Until now, it has been over 2.5 months, I did not get any update. I can't e-request until Nov,2024. Anyone is experiencing the same???
Travel outside US / Awaiting AP / approved L1 A
EB 1-C concurrent filing. PD Dec 2022. Received GC EAD and awaiting AP.
Meantime renewed my L1-A and have approved 797 till Dec 25.
Question- Have family emergency and need to travel to India. Can I go for L1A stamping? will that cause any issues with 485 and AP processing? anyone in similar experience?
