Wait for greencard to start work?

To all Eb3 unskilled, anyone who has EAD approved but decided to wait untill greencard approval to start working for the sponsor? Would there be any problem by law? Attorney said it’s ok, but still want to hear your inputs.

Should I submit my case by myself or hire a firm? Any difference it makes on the eyes of USCIS?

Love conquers all

We have been married for 7 beautiful years. We still have the hots for eachother. The immigration entire process had caused us lots of money on traveling, food, and rent oversees. God made it possible for us to afford it. USCIS did a great job in processing the 1-130 application in a timelymanner, NVC took a while; but they did good on their end. The biggest obstacle is The US Embassy in Haiti. They are keeping my family apart. My husband and I are both 8 years older since we had gotten married. I won't be able to have more children. We pray everyday for this wait to end. Our church is praying that my husband comes to America soon. it's tough raising two kids, now Pre-teens. #Faithiseverything

update on my approved vawa

after my vawa approved 3 month ago I got notification that my i360 was transferred to NBC ( national benefit center) and they will make a decision on my case!!!! and another notification on my i485 RFE which is my medical exam.. now what the NBC gonna do on my case that it’s already approved 3 months ago!

Notice of Action

Hey guys, How long does it take to get a notice of action from the Dallas lockbox. I sent my application a couple weeks ago and even included the electronic notification but I am yet to get anything on the email. Any ideas?

How long does it take for USCIS to respond.

on the 16th of February sent in request to Expedite my I-131 as I need to travel, I received a message that it has been passed on to NBC has they have to be the ones to decide on my case. Instead of that, my I-765 was approved on the 23rd of Feb without been updated on the tracking app (just saw it under document on the online account) and card not delivered. I’m just curt know what’s the timeline for them responding to Expedite request as the email shows to allow 7business days and how long it takes to print and send cards when case has been approved. Thanks.

what’s the current wait time to receive a receipt when you file your green card removal of conditions application? what happens if green card expires before receipt is returned?

I-485 showing new card is being produced.

I have check on my case status last week, showing new card is being produced on 22/02/2024 (without the interview). I have been wait for a week the status still the same there . However, I have received 2 letters from uscis yestersday , one shown my I-130 reopened and reconsideration on 24/02/2024 , the 2nd letter shown my I-130 was approved on 25/02/2024 …. I was like..what’s going on ??? Now I check my status still shows new card is being produced…. does anyone have /had this kind of situation ???? what should I do ..

After Vawa Approval

after your vawa is approved how long does it take to hear from USCIS about getting started on your GC application? I already had a active green card case from my marriage when I was married to my ex husband. once I filed for vawa my lawyer contacted immigration and let them know and they put the case on hold. my vawa was recently approved as of February 2024 and my lawyer sent USCIS a response that my case was approved. what is the time line to hear back? does anyone know or been in this situation before.

hey guys, I’m checking my USCIS acct. every day. last week the est. decision time has changes from 2 months to 5 weeks on Saturday, 2 days later (this morning) it changed from 5 weeks to 4 weeks. knowing USCIS, such rapid timeline changes might be a sign of upcoming results soon. it happens usually when the officer picks up the case. any thought? past experience?

Any October 2023 fillers here? did u get ur gc or not?
