my son got rejected from his F1 and his B1 visa got cancelled
Me and my daughter are currently in the US waiting for our I-485 (my combo cards are approved and hers just submitted extra evidence). My son is planed to come here for high school and he went to the conselate yet he got rejected for F1 and they even cancelled his 10-yr B1 visa. What should we do now? Some people suggested to write a letter to our house representatives. Would that work?

Current
hello.
They sent me a notification saying that it will be necessary to take my fingerprint because they already have it. Do you think it's a good sign? I just hope they make a decision on the case

This journey has been quite challenging, with approval not coming smoothly.

Received approval letter in mail on 03/28/2024
Issues faced:
Both the primary applicant and spouse gave biometrics on the same day, but the status did not update to 'Fingerprints were taken' for the primary applicant's I-131 and the spouse's I-485. But primary's status were later changed to "Fingerprints were applied" on September 26th, 2023 for I-131 though spouse biometrics status was never updated for I-485.
The primary applicant only received approval for the I-765, while the spouse received a combo card, although the approval occurred two months after the primary applicant's.
Since the primary applicant plans to fly overseas later this year, a Service Request (SR) was raised on February 8th, 2024 hoping to accelerate the approval for the I-485, instead I-131 was approved on February 26th, 2024.
Another SR was attempted for the I-485 on February 27th, 2024, but only the primary applicant's SR went through the system, and it was unable to be submitted for the spouse. It states that the spouse's case is within normal processing time. One possible reason for this is that the spouse contacted Emma a few times regarding her case, but I did not. It might be marked within the system that the case was recently reviewed because when trying to contact Emma, they pull up your information.
The primary applicant's I-485 was approved on March 21st, but nothing showed up for the spouse's case. After battling at home for two long days, the spouse's case was also approved today. (My spouse tried to raise SR again three times a day for the last two days🤣)
Case was first updated to "New card is being produced" then changed to "Case was approved" on following day.
Thank you very much all in this lawfully community for your endless support via post sharing and commenting. By saying that, happy to answer for anyone as everyone did for us in past couple of months.
Wishing everyone good luck for yours to be approved soon!!!
PS: Approval letter received in mail for both on March 28th.
