update ur case online and make sure to send letter to uscis along with copy of the certification, might take around 30 days

hi @lama l my husband is the one who filed for me so he has to update on his account or I can update in my account as well.. and we also send certificates 2 months ago until now we didn’t hear anything ..

I got approval for the I-130 when my husband was a green card holder. After he became a citizen, we contacted them to request an upgrade. They informed us that the I-130 was already approved and the I-485 was not affected. They said we couldn’t do anything but wait. However, since we were no longer in the F2A category, we insisted on upgrading both the I-130 and I-485. We received a letter stating they would respond within 30 days. I kept calling and chatting with Emma. They informed me that the case was already upgraded, and on day 30, they waived the interview.

@pooja fnu n if you have children make sure you file i_130 cz after upgrade they will be dropped bt if it's only spouse you good to go bt the whole thing is worth it.just upload citizenship cert or passport n let them know you did upgrade from f2a to ir1

It took 3 months to get upgraded, and another 4 to get approved, I called (numerous times), mailed and summited copy to acct. In total my husband’s application in USCIS was approved in 10 months from start to finish. started as LPR then became a Citizen.
