Case remains pending I-485
Hi all!
I wanted to get a better sense of where I am currently in the process and how much more I could be waiting. I got my EAD card I-765 last month. My case is for an EB2, my PD is 08/05/2022 and I filed for my I-485 on 10/03/2023 (fingerprints already taken). On November my case updated to “Case remains pending” because a visa number wasn’t immediately available (my center is the NBC).
I know that usually we don’t know how much you have to wait for a visa number to be allocated but, I wanted to know if you have noticed a general trend on how much it could take for the case to go from pending to revised and get a decision.

Advance Parole Approved Today
Exactly 1 year and a month after applying for AOS, my AP got approved today, not feeling thrilled at all to be honest 🥺but hopeful, since they finally at least made 1 decision … I’m hoping to be a good sign that the green card is coming soon since the case has been sitting at Local Field Office since November ..

When will tier 2 agent call?
I sent my medical package 2.5 months ago but no update in the case. I talked to Emma and chatted with a live agent. They said they submitted my case to be reviewed by a tier 2 agent and that I’d get a call or email from them within 3 business days. Now it’s more than 2 weeks since the promised date and still no call. I talked to live agent again and was told to continue waiting. I called their hotline and can’t get to an agent. The initial deadline to submit is this Friday. What should I do?
