Any N-400 Filers in the Cleveland area?
Hi!
The Cleveland office is known for being the fastest immigration office in the United States. I was lucky to have had my I-485 and I-751 approved in a relatively reasonable time.
I’m wondering, however, about N-400. I noticed from timelines at other filed offices that it doesn’t usually take more than 3 months to get the interview letter.
Mine has been going for 4 months now and it still says “Case is being actively reviewed”. I know the processing time for the Cleveland office is 5.5 months, but I was just wondering if anybody is going through the same thing.
Thank you!
To God be the glory
after waiting for 24 months I received my approval today. Thank you Jesus I’m so happy. it’s been months of roller coaster emotions with unexpected results 😃. I’m very grateful.

#F-1 Status Ending and I-485 on CRP
I am currently on F-1 and my I-20 end date is 5/6/2024. My I-485 was filed 10/25/2023, PD 09/16/2022.
1. Assuming that I get my EAD (I-765) approved before the end date of my I-20 but that I-485 remains on CRP, what should I do? Do I need to apply for Post-Completion OPT?
2. Assuming that I do NOT get my EAD (I-765) approved by 05/06/2024, should I apply for Post-Completion OPT?
Your thoughts will be highly appreciated.
