Denied
Case was denied after radio silence after interview 2 years ago.On the 8th April I received notice that we didn't show for interview and then today I received notice of denial.Denial says I cannot adjust status because I am already a permanent resident since June 1987.My DOB is March 28 1990 how did i recieve a greencard before i was even born.It says I was granted status due to my testimony at my interview in 1987 and I should file to remove conditions.
I am so confused as everything was going well as I currently have my combo card etc.Dont know what to do to be honest have had an headache since I received the notice as it is clearly an error.

Estimated Waiting Time for Filing I-485
Hey everyone,
I'm currently working as a postdoc on a J visa, and it looks like my program will be going on for another 2.5 years. I've recently filed an I-140.
The PD is not current, and there is a significant delay for filing the I-485 application. Additionally, since filing the I-140, I am unable to apply for other positions.
Feeling a bit worried about what might happen once my program wraps up. If my PD still isn't current by then, I won't have an EAD card and won't be able to apply elsewhere. It's a bit of a pickle!
Any thoughts or suggestions on how to handle this situation? Do you reckon the filing date will move up anytime soon?

Sharing the timeline. Case was at SFO FO for almost 1 year. Went to CRP in August 2023, and was current since Oct 2023. Wishing the best for others who are waiting !
