I finally knew what was my NOID about it was about divorce decree for my wife from her ex-husband
I got my noid letter in the mail 3 days before the response time expired we went the next day to the court and got the divorce decree submitted 2 days before the deadline
I had and update on my case status saying that they received my response I am so glad it was only one request
and I made it and responded before the deadline
hopefully hearing good news soon
anyone knows how long until they give me a decision

Here are some tips that i hope can help when filing your I-485 cases.
1. Check the USCIS Form I-485 page and review the 'Checklist of Required Documents' link. Try your best to provide all required documents when first submitting your case. This can save you from possible RFEs, which could cause long delays.
2. check the edition dates of the form and make sure you’re providing the right amount of filing fees. People often pay too much attention to other evidence and forget that the most important things are the forms and fees. Everything else can usually be resolved with an RFE, but having USCIS return your case due to outdated forms or incorrect filing fees could cost you a month—and potentially put you out of legal status.

it was a NOID concerning my previous marriage from 7 years ago and the inconsistency from our previous interview. I didn’t get a green card from this marriage but my former attorney didn’t withdraw my case as requested so that brought up concern. The problem now is I don’t have enough from from my previous marriage. I have an appointment with my attorney on Monday. anyone went through similar ?

Today, I lift up every soul still waiting — those checking Lawfully every hour, refreshing their USCIS status, counting days, and crying in silence when hope feels far away.
You see the mothers praying for safety.
You see the husbands carrying the weight.
You see the students, the dreamers, the families just trying to stay together.
You see them, Lord — even when the system doesn’t.
For every person reading this with a pending case:
I pray for strength in the waiting.
I pray for peace that passes understanding.
I pray for answers — not just eventually, but soon.
Let every document fall into place.
Let every officer be filled with compassion.
Let approvals begin to flow — one by one, heart by heart.
And while they wait, Lord, guard their minds from anxiety.
Remind them:

They are not denied.

i485 after vawa approved
Hi everyone, I filed VAWA and I-485 together in November 2021. My VAWA was approved in February 2025, and the I-485 status changed to “case was transferred and office has jurisdiction.” On June 9, I got an interview notice and attended the interview on July 17, but they told me they hadn’t received my file yet and said they’d reschedule within a month. Today is August 6, and I haven’t received anything. Is this normal?
My I-140 case moved to service center
Hello. My case is under review for 615 days now, initially in Nebraska center. Upon my inquiery with an agent at USCIS, I was informed that my case has been moved to service center on May 20 (Potomac). Not sure what does it mean, but I hope it does not take another 615 days!
