Travel on advance parole
Morning Lovely community,
I wanted to check if anyone has travelled outside the country on the advance parole with pending Green Card.(still in the interview phase either get waived or will have one).
what was your experience? Is it risky to do so? I may have to travel by end of the year for work and to see my family ( haven’t seen them in 5 years) and I am too scared that they may not let me back into the country.
ps: I know it’s different from a person to another but interested to know people experiences( I have the advance parole on my work authorization card and it is valid for 5 years).

485 with lawyer or without lawyer in Newark, New Jersey?
I am not sure if I will be asked for interview or not. my lawyer who originally was in California is now retired and she sold practice to another firm that is pretty much useless. Now I moved my case to Newark, New Jersey as it is closer to where I am currently. if I am called for interview should I take a lawyer with me? Doee anyone know of a reasonable lawyer in New Jersey or New York. I had my 485 applied through marriage linked to VAWA, I am not sure that in this case if they will send Greencard directly or will they give interview. any idea?
Second actively being reviewed
So I had a chat with Emma on Friday and the officer said there was no update on my case and that I can submit a case is outside normal processing request online. This morning I woke up to second “your case is actively being reviewed by USCIS”. Is this a good sign? I checked my online account and no documents yet.

I received my second rfe after 4 years of waiting was a lawyer mistake did not send everything!
The rfe was about more evidence of the abuse !
I’m trying to respond for the rfe and I need help if I’m missing anything since I don’t trust lawyer !
I do have evaluation of my Psychologist
I do have pics of Physical abuse and a statement by me !
I do have a threat texts !
I do have a police report ( call harassment)
Good moral letter from friends
Are these enough for approval? And a good response #vawa #I-360 #rfe
