my husband got the access code at 6 months in. we never made the account and now it’s expired lol. the only advantage to having it is quicker notification of an RFE (vs waiting for the letter) and you might we an approval in documents a day or two before status updates to approved. @Jacob N

@Jacob N When you say access code, do you mean you can't log in to the USCIS site ?

@Patiently Waiting lol our cases are so similar. I really don’t care about the 130 tbh. my relationship is so legit I think the chance of an RFE is 3%.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 - The only thing I was worried about is that his second access code was forwarded from our old address. I changed mine online but I guess he needs to update it on his end as well. He was 2 days over the expiry date last week so hopefully it doesn’t take as long to arrive this time. Other than that, I’m definitely not worried about our I-130 either. 😂

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 - BUT… there are 1539 - i-485’s left in my block. Last week they only adjudicated 39. At that rate it’s gonna take them another 39 weeks to complete. I’m losing my hair…literally! So stressed!

@Patiently Waiting what % of those are LPR green cards VS USC? I don’t know if they can apply before current? I know for the 130s a lot are for LPRs. what stresses me out is that my 130 is “received”. have they even looked at the pictures of our 2 children and their birth certificates? 😭

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 - I wish I could find that info. 🤔 I think they would have looked at your I-130 evidence to see if you were eligible with the initial check. Mine says received also…seems like they’ve been specifically working on the I-485 but I don’t think I would have received any RFE’s for the AOS if they hadn’t seen our marital evidence first. I sent evidence dating back to 2015 along with kids birth certificates and photos etc as well.

You can request for another online accesss code from your USCIS portal.

@Jacob N sorry we hijacked your comments. yea you don’t NEEEEED it but If you get a RFE it will delay your response time not having it.
