I 485 Returned
Hi, I applied for Vawa i360, I485, i765 and I131 and $630 Fee for Advance parole on July 3rd This year, I got Receiving letter for 765 And 360 on July 13th. But they Sent me Fee back and Some pages of i485 Back. It says Money not needed. But what would be the reason they Returned first 4 pages of i485 form too. I haven't got any Receiving letter for I485 and I131.#vawa #combocard #travel #greencard #advanceparole

my progress estimated time is 1 week. as much as i want to get excited i need to accept it can change at any time. so far my estimated time hasnt change out of the ordinary. always kept counting down. now im down to 1 week. 😭

My VAWA got approved on last February (2024) .
since vawa got approved, haven’t had any update on 485 . I saw many of our members got movement notification, their RFE for medical and approval on 485. I am really worried about my 485 . How come nothing happened on my 485. Does anyone have any similar experience? please share your?

receipt notice/ money - how long?
how long does did it take for you to get receipt notice or Money drawn, or get a email/text notice if you have included 1145?
I sent it to Chicago lockbox.
UPS tracking says they received it on Monday, but nothing yet.

Can I get Canadian citizenship while working and residing in the US
My situation -
I am an Indian citizen, currently staying in Vancouver and am a Permanent Resident of Canada. I have completed 2.5 years and have 6 months to go before I file for my citizenship.
I am moving to the US on L1 A visa. My company will help file for American green card.
I however also want to get Canadian Citizenship as I just have 6 months left. My plan is to stay in Point Roberts, Washington, USA and cross the border on a daily basis for 6 months. In that way I will be able to complete my left over 6 months and file for Canadian citizenship.
I want to understand, if crossing the border on a daily basis has any legal implication, in the US or in Canada? #Bordercrossing #US L1A #Canada #citizenship #Greencard
I-765 approved twice?
hello! so on July 19 I got a notification saying that card is being produced, then July 20 case was approved and July 22 case was approved again. does anybody know anything about that?
also I called uscis regarding my I-485. I was supposed to get a call from the officer, but no one called of course. I kept calling them and I got the most rude person possible. he was interrupting, didn’t listen to questions, just kept talking to me as I was a second class person. idk what to do at this point, the only thing he kept telling me is the case under review which I understand, but it’s just being under review for almost 2 years now (case itself (I-485) was filed October 19, 2021)
