I-20 related - I wondered if someone has same experience
If an international student has graduated and her I-20 still has time until the end of the year. She applied for adjustment of status and work authorization, they are both pending, but 130 have already been approved.
can the student choose to not apply for OPT or continue education? Is it legal to stay in the US?

I got a pleasant surprise today with this. had just decided yesterday that I will not frantically check lawfully anymore. 485 approval just for primary. dependent and 485J not approved yet. ###

just want to share my green card journey. been here in the US since May 2019 with my tourist visa. got married to a US citizen on Nov 2023. filed concurrently my I130 I131 I485 I765 on December 15, 2023. and the following happened:
April 29, 2024 EAD card delivered
June 5, 2024 interview but was cancelled by USCIS
July 31, 2024 another scheduled interview but again cancelled by USCIS
July 24, 2024 the BIG DAY, the INTERVIEW! it took us one and a half hour for the interview process. everything went on smoothly. we were interviewed separately.
July 25, 2024 I received an email saying both my I130 and I485 were approved! I was literally in tears reading the email.
today, I called USCIS and a live agent told me that the CARD WAS PRODUCED on July 25, 2024.
now, my question is how many days will the card be in my possession? my husband and I are very much excited now to book our flights to the Philippines (my home country). this is my husband’s first time to go to Philippines and my first vacation after more than five years of staying here in the US.
