Hi friends, the agent told me to wait till November to ask any questions on updates even though we had our interview last Monday. We had applied concurrently in May 2023 but I was on OPT and got my EAD through that so I didnt apply for an EAD with the adjustment application. (what an idiot)
But I feel super paranoid because my progress time keeps changing from 2 months to 5 months to now 9 months all within a week of interview. The interview went well but the interviewer said she was not the final reviewer. We would get any updates online or in the mail. Its been a week and since my EAD expired in July I have not been able to work which is causing some issues. I just want to cry seeing everyone getting approved. I don’t know if I should apply for an EAD now just to wait 3-4 months like my last one.
error with P.O Box delivery
Hi everyone ,
I submitted my forms for family based green card last week and to my notice, I found out that I sent it to the wrong P.O. Box in Illinois. it was supposed to go to the AOS lock box but I sent it to the I-130 lock box since I was doing the cocurrent filing . I called the customer care and they said it will depend on the officer reviewing if they transfer it to the right office or reject and send it back . but if I get charged , then it should be fine . any body with similar experience? thank you

Contradictory Responses w/EMMA
Has anyone chatted with a live agent on EMMA and received two different contradictory responses? On Fri, the agent told me that my I485 is in Dallas FO and interview has been waived. Today, they said my case is with the NBC and it hasn’t been transferred to a FO yet, but my interview has been waived. Don’t they all have access to the same files?
