Spoke to a real person…….
Hi, I called USCIS and spoke to a really person. She was nice 😊. My case (485) is in Detroit which is my field office. She said everything looked okay, I am just waiting. She said that I need to wait the 30 days from the inquiry 🧐 of my 765.
I said info pass when I called and I got through.
I had contacted the congress person but I am holding off on having him involved. I am worried about getting home for my mother but I also realize that I need to maybe wait until I really need help. I am going to wait and see for a bit and try again with the expidite for my 131 with new info my my mothers oncologist.
For the first time in a long time, I feel some hope. Speaking to a person was good.

Form I-485
I’ve received a notice to submit evidence for my form I-485. which basically they asked me to place my intials and the date next to a specific answer in the form. i’ve submitted the old format back in May 2024. the format has now changed in August. should I resubmit the whole form with the new format or just put my intials next to the answer and resubmit the old format? PS: the mailing address is to a field office.
Expedite request even worth it?

my husband and I applied for my I130 back in October 2023 and are still waiting.
We live together in Germany with two small children (6 and 4) and he works for Amazon and is working on a transfer to the States.. Now my question, if he ends up getting the job in the states, could we apply for an expedite request bc I really don’t want him to go ahead of us bc that would be so stressful for me here. Taking care of the move and the kids and everything is just too much I feel like. We don’t need the job as far as for the financial situation bc we have enough saving that we should be okay to get the Visa either way. I hope we will hear something in the next 2/3 months, but I don’t know if they would want him to start sooner.
why my case is not approving...pd 13 march 2023, Nebraska SC...spouse of US citizen... inquiry date is feb 04 2025... don't know what's going kn there...i saw many approvals of August 2023...!

hi guys I just join Air Force reserve with my gc
I signed the contract but not yet go to basic training my recruiter told me it probably will take a year to go to but and I am going to drill weekend for training once a month. Is that possible to apply for citizenship before basic training? thanks
