I’m on STEM OPT and want to switch to H4 as a dependent (spouse on H1B with I-140). Instead of an 8-month change of status, I heard I could get H4 stamping abroad and re-enter. Has anyone done this?

Though I was on USCIS about my case it took them 2 years , 3 months to send me a RFE. Now it's been 27 days since they recieved response for RFE and still waiting for something.

why is it taking this long for my petition. I'm USA citizen and filed for my spouse who lives in Pakistan.

When I get my green card

Hi everyone, I am feeling greatful tonight that I am going to get my green card one day. I feel like I complain about waiting, for 225 days now, but there are people waiting for much longer and under different circumstances. My biggest concern is that I won’t be able to stay in the US and will need to return to Canada. Being on this app has made me appreciate my situation much more. Many people are scared to go back to their country or simply cannot return. I pray for those people that USCIS will process their applications very quickly. I wish everyone the best in every category of immigration. Thank you to everyone for sharing your stories and experience.
