assuming 180 days has passed for AC21, you don’t need to wait for confirmation of 485j prior to starting jobs nor pre-emptively submit 485j for every job change. when USCIS has issued RFE or called for interview, that time is ideal to go with latest 485j. preemptively submitting is ok but comes with a added factor of poking the USCIS bear (case file confusion, scrutiny involved in every job code/similarity, unpredictable officer etc)

@DesiGirl2010 Chackunny Well USCIS will issue an RFE for 485J. Then you can submit updated 485J then. I submitted when USCIS issued an RFE.

@DesiGirl2010 Chackunny Even if you submitted one, as inter-file, sometimes USCIS doesn’t update the case. so when they issue RFE, you’ll attach the original RFE requesting page + 485J.
