real id
Hi, I've been trying to get my REAL ID since 2024. The first time I went to the DMV, I had my 2-year green card. They told me not to apply for a REAL ID yet because my regular driver license wouldn't expire until 2029, while my 2-year green card was going to expire within a year.
They advised me to come back once I had my I-751 extension letter, which I eventually did. However, when I returned, the DMV told me they could only issue me a REAL ID valid for 2 years because my SAVE case was still connected to my old EAD, which expires in 2028. They said there was nothing they could do about it at the time.
I now have my 10-year green card and was wondering if anyone has gone through something similar or knows what I should do next.
Thank you!

I filed on 11/2025, received the notice for the interview in January 2026, I attended the interview on 2/2026. I was not approved or denied, but I passed the civic and English test. The officer just gave me a letter stating a decision couldn’t be made at the time and that a supervisor needed to review my case.
No updates at all after the interview. The USCIS site kept showing I was scheduled for interview. 4 months later now in May I got an update “case still processing”.
is anyone else experiencing this?
is this a stalling tactic?
when can I submit an inquiry and on my case?
The interview was intense due to a mistake in my initial visa application that was clarified when they gave me my GC, but the officer made a huge deal about it even though there was an affidavit on my records explaining everything.
This uncertainty is giving me so much anxiety.

Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview
I just received this update from USIC.
I sent my medical on April 20 and a month later got this message.
Does anyone know when they will schedule it? Is it 100% guaranteed that I will have an interview?
I am praying to receive my card without interview

Form I485 base on approved asylum
My I-485 asylum-based adjustment case was pending at NBC for more than 30 months. Recently, a USCIS agent told me the case was transferred to the Boston Field Office even though I live in Illinois. Is this normal, does it happened with anyone and she told me that an officer looked at my case two weeks ago but i don't see any change in status yet
